Man Utd line up bid for Barcelona defender Araujo

Manchester United are readying a bid for Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo.

Sport says United are pushing to sign Arajo this summer.

The English giants have emerged as the main interested party for the centre-back - and they're prepared to pay a hefty sum.

United are willing to spend over 80m on the Uruguay international.

It has previously been reported that Bayern Munich would consider paying a sum worth between 65-70m.

At the same time, it is also reported that an extension with Barcelona is relevant for Arajo. The centre-back's current contract expires in the summer of 2026.
