McDermott Provides Key Injury Update at NFL Combine

Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott spoke at length about some of the team's core players from the past few seasons on Monday as he met with the media ahead of the NFL Scouting Combine.

McDermott shared some reflective thoughts on safeties Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer, receiver Gabe Davis, and quarterback Josh Allen, but also provided a key injury update for two of the defense's top players.

Bills linebacker Matt Milano (leg) and Tre'Davious White (Achilles) both had to watch from the sidelines as Buffalo suffered yet another heartbreaking playoff loss, but McDermott said that the veteran duo have remained in the facility and are knee-deep in rehab during the early stages of the offseason.

"Both are doing well, both working extremely hard and I mean, I see those guys almost every day, sometimes more than others just based on their rehab schedule or their doctor's appointments," McDermott said.

White and Milano both suffered season-ending injuries one week apart from each other. White tore his Achilles in Week 4's win over the Miami Dolphins before Milano had to be carted off in Week 5's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.
