The two Philadelphia fans involved in Saturday’s confrontation with Washington Wizards guard Isaiah Thomas have been banned from the Wells Fargo Center for a year.
According to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the season ticket holder who provided the fans with the seats also had his tickets revoked.
The 2 fans who yelled obscenities at and made obscene gestures to #Wizards PG Isaiah Thomas in Sunday’s game have been banned from the Wells Fargo Center for 12 months. The season-ticket holder who gave them the seats for game had the tickets revoked, according #Sixers spokesman.

The whole incident came about for entirely ridiculous reasons, and now a pair of fans have made fools of themselves and won’t be allowed into the arena for a year. Given the concerns players have about this sort of behavior, coming down hard on it is entirely justified.
